this is actually a big issue for me, and 9 times out of 10, it’s how i talk myself out of a workout.
when not working out, i only wash my hair twice a week. trust me, my hair honestly doesn’t look ratched until day 4 or usually 5, depending on products used, humidity, the whims of fate…
regular workouts throw this off completely, of course.
and it’s not the showering or washing that’s the issue…it’s the 45 minutes it takes me to blow it dry and make it look decent again. so an hour at the gym turns into an hour at the gym, plus 10-15 minutes in the shower (i have a lot of hair to wash, mkay, and i move slower after a workout, lol), plus 30 minutes for my hair to partially air-dry (otherwise i will frizz up like crazy), plus 45 minutes to blow it dry, and suddenly i’ve lost two and half hours of my day, no exaggeration.
see the problem?
dry shampoo will only take one so far…
